# A collection of images captured on a weekly basis in order to run away from the structured behaviour of the engineering world. Trying my best to get in touch with my other side of the brain, exhibiting nature and culture in a different perspective.

These young boys and girls appeared positive and happy when our van loaded with goodies arrived at the community centre of Tatau, Sarawak. To them, simple gestures from strangers like us will surely keep them happy for the whole Ramadhan.

They didn’t ask much like we did - e.g. which Mac should i get? - to D300 or not to D300? - Lancer or Civic? - and the list is endless. All they want is for us to show them that we care. To be there with them, listen to their stories and tell them that they are cute and handsome. Plus chocolates and new clothes of course :p

And we came back, satisfied, with their smile, deeply remembered..

There are times when we want to be as close as possible to home when we are away. I’ve started a seemingly simple search for reputable Ramadhan Bazaar to fulfill my ‘wants’. Eventually, it took me 3 days to find one.

Found this place at the old air strip of bintulu, with quite a number of food stalls. There’s nothing more exciting than figuring out which one to buy for the iftar. Spoilt for choices. Feels like home.

I didn’t know where else to go for IFTAR (except Masjid Assyakirin). In fact, all of them have no clue either. And finding a better place seems impossibe.

With no intention of changing to other places, we gather here at “Selera Kampung” as early as 5.45pm (Bintulu’s IFTAR time is about 6.25pm) browsing thru their menu.

On impulse, i’ve ordered “Maggie Tomyam” and it turned out to be a great delicacy. Worth every penny :p
